Understanding China’s Cybersecurity Law and a Survey for NZ Exporters

New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MFAT) in Shanghai has recently commented on China’s new cybersecurity law, which came into effect on 1 June, 2017.

A full information sheet designed for NZ exporters is available here.  This information sheet will be helpful for NZCCC members considering updates to Chinese cybersecurity law and how they will relate to their businesses.

Cyber security is just one of the key issues for NZ business to consider when selling into China via e-commerce. NZCCC is keen to hear more about business experiences (pros and cons) from our members who are exporters and engaged in trade with China via -ecommerce, and from companies with an interest in doing so in the future.

Your feedback will help inform New Zealand’s priorities for the FTA upgrade in the e-commerce area as negotiations are launched, and will also help NZCCC design more tailored programs and events to meet your needs in engaging with China.

Your time in completing this very short survey is much appreciated. Please click SURVEY to get started.
